Thoughts both damning and irrelevant splatter
Against the walls of skulls
Seeking exits so they might take flight.
Willful determination built of rubber matter
Bounces them around with a dull
Thud!
Imprisoning gnat-like creatures in viscous night.
Until one escapes victorious,
No longer gnat but hornet
Releasing its sting to an unsuspecting passerby.
