Allie has been a Children’s Librarian for Palm Beach County Florida, the City of West Palm Beach Florida, and Henry County Georgia. She served for three years as the Assistant Director of Public Services for the Henry County Library System. She earned her Bachelors degree in English from Lander University in Greenwood, South Carolina and her Masters degree in Library and Information Science from the University of South Florida, Tampa.

She has been married 20+ years to her high school sweetheart and has two adult children. She recently became a grandmother as well.  She also lives with a Great Pyrenees (Tundra), an Australian Shepherd/Newfoundland mix (Faith), two sugar gliders (Jeremiah and Petunia) and an African Grey Parrot (Goliath).  She spends most of her free time reading, hanging with her best friends, and going out for Mexican food with her husband. Admin
