Frostblood by Elly Blake
My review: 4 of 5 stars
A YA fantasy worth reading. Frostblood is fast-paced and action-packed with strong characters. At times, the action is tense and violent, but Frostblood is clean otherwise (no sex or foul language). Blake has a way with words, and I enjoyed her vocabulary choices. The mythic and paranormal elements made for excellent storytelling. This first book in the Frostblood Saga ends with an interesting twist and promises of more battles, action, and romance to come. Recommended for teens of all ages.
