Nightingale Way is a book about hope, redemption, and reconciliation. It is romantic, optimistic, and enjoyable to read. It was a bit sappy at times, and it certainly would not appeal to most men. However, I read it through in one afternoon and found that I had a smile on my face at the end. Sometimes that’s all you want in a book; a feel-good story. “Friends can be beams of sunshine if only you’ll let them” (p. 111).
